Strolling through the grounds!

Hannah was exploring her new school, checking out all the halls and classrooms (even though it was the weekend and no classes were scheduled). As she was exiting a building, she spotted a lovely garden.
"Oh wow!" She exclaimed happily. "This garden looks even bigger than mine!" And she started running towards it. She was in awe for a few seconds, and then began walking slowly through the garden, fingering her favorite flowers and smelling them. Suddenly, she had a giggling fit and making sure no one was around, she started rolling through the grass until she got tired and laid flat on her back. She stared up at the clouds for a while, having lazy daydreams and all her nervousness at being away from home drifted away. She got bored after a while, and stood up and looked around. Spotting a hammock in the shade, she happily skipped to it and swung for a while, falling into a light sleep after a few short minutes.

Karla, who had just arrived, was never good at finding her way around new places, even though she had had to do it many times before.
She ended up in the gardens and she was supposed to get to the dorms.
Karla looked around, "Uh oh...I think I was supposed to turn way the heck over at the entrance..."
There was complete silence and she looked around some more with a frown, "Whoops..."
Karla walked around some more, "WHY ME !?" She screamed, only to notice there was someone trying to sleep out her.
She gasped and her ears twitched, "Double whoops..."

Ears twitching, Hannah looked around sleepily and rubbed her eyes. "Mmmm?" she mumbled and looked around. Seeing another girl, she smiled and sat up, tail gently swaying back and forth.
"Hi! Is something wrong, miss? You look kinda troubled...do you need help with anything?"

Karla's ears poked up, "Sorry to disturb you. BUT I DON'T KNOW WHERE THE HECK I'M GOING!"
Karla bit her lip to her outburst and held her cat-like tail, "Sorry...I'm just a bit lost right now..."

Giggling a bit behind her hand, Hannah stood up and walked over to the girl. "No worries, you didn't bother me at all! I shouldn't have been napping anyway in such a public place...that was rather rude of me." She sweatdropped a bit at herself.
Then she smiled and extended her hand to the girl. "By the way, my name's Hannah. I just got to this school, but I know where a couple of things are already, like the dorms and registration office...I could show you where those are, or I could help you look for something else!"

Smiling wide, Hannah thought to herself, Karla seems really nice...maybe I've found my first friend here! And she's got ears and a tail too, so she won't make fun of me!
Outloud, she replied, "Yay! Okay, umm...well, if you've already registered you probably need a room. Have you found yours yet, or would that be a good place to start the tour?"

Karla smiled.
But suddenly...Her nose twitched. Something nearby smelled great. Her tail swung delightfully.
"What is that lovely smell?" Karla asked, turning around.
She skipped over to the scent.
Catnip.
"MREEOOW!!! YUM!" Karla picked some of the catnip, "I like this school already!"

"Okay! That's good, 'cause the dorms are right over here--" she paused to watch, giggling at Karla's excitement over the catnip. She liked the plant's flowers and looks, but couldn't smell the nepetalactone like Karla could, because she was a kitsune. She walked over to the plant, though, and helped pick some, pulling up the bottom of her shirt and sticking it in the pouch it made.
[OOC: Yes, I totally looked it up in Google what that "nepetalactone"chemical-thing was called. XD]

Karla looked over to Hannah, who had begun to pick catnip, not asuming it was to help Karla. Karla looked at her in a confused way.
"I thought cats (Or half-cat people, hehe) were the only ones," She took a glance at her catnip, "Who could smell the delightful scent of catnip!"

Having been caught, Hannah blushed slightly and tugged on her ear, as she was apt to do when she was nervous or feeling shy. "Oh...I...umm...I can't smell it, you're right, I just wanted to help you pick it, if that's alright?"
[OOC: Nuuu! *catches* xD I didn't even know that's why cats (or cat-girls ^^) liked it so much, I just looked it up so I wouldn't be talking about stuff I didn't know about, Lol]

((OOC: I think it's the smell they like, but I dunno. I just assumed that's why cats go crazy when there is catnip around.))

Hannah gladly returned the smile, "It's no problem!" She hopped back and forth from one foot to the other, tail swishing gently behind her. "So, where to now?"
[OOC: Yush, it's a smell only cats can smell. ^__^ It's the chemical thingy that makes a connection in their brain and makes them go crazy. XD But they're the same thing, sorta...the chemical -is- the smell...or something...x_x]

Karla held some catnip in her hands and her tail was wrapped around the rest she had picked to act as an extra hand, "Well, why don't you show me where the dorms are?"
Her smile remained unwavering as she waited for a reply.

"Okay!" She smiled and held out her hand for Karla to take, as was habit to her. "They're really not too far away." With her free hand she pointed out the building.
[OOC: I read it's a member of the mint plant-family, so maybe it tastes like peppermint or spearmint! ...or maybe because the leaves are so pointy it's POISONOUS. *gasps and pretends to faint* Also, if you wanna start walking to the dorms and even arriving there in your postie, feel free. :D]
